英文當中有一些縮讀字，例如 I’m, don’t, can’t，這些就是所謂的縮讀字，相信這些應該都已經難不到你了，不過當你遇到一些非正式的縮讀字的話，可是常常會讓人一個頭兩個大呢!因為有太多非正式的縮讀字，如果沒有學過，還真的不會呢，今天就要帶大家來看看10個常見的非正式縮讀字，這樣以後如果遇到就不會窘翻天了!

這裡要請大家要分清楚，縮讀字和縮寫的不同喔，「縮寫」 字!
接下來，我們就來看看幾個比較常見的縮讀字吧:
- aincha = aren’t you 你是不是?
這個字的意思是 “ain’t you”, “ain’t” 這個字其實原本是代表 am not ， 例如像是 I ain’t tall. ( I am not tall.)，不過後來就慢慢變成一種俚語的用法了，所以現在聽到有人用”ain’t”可以代表的範圍就比較廣泛，例如: is not, are not,am not, does not, do not。例如: He ain’t going. (He is not going.) 所以 aincha = ain’t you = aren’t you.
例句:
Aincha that guy who came to my party last weekend?
Aren’t you that guy who came to my party last weekend?
(你是不是那個上周末來參加我派對的那個人?)
2. doncha = Dontcha trust me 難道你不信任我嗎?
這個字的意思是 “Don’t you”，例如：
Why doncha write me a nice song?
Why don’t you write me a nice song?
(難道你不寫首歌給我嗎？)
或者是
Dontcha trust me?
Don’t you trust me?
（難道你不信任我嗎？）
(註: 許多人選擇看劇作為進修英文方法的時候，難免會因為一些口音上的難度，因此也是有可能會出現 “cha” 這類的發音喔!)
3. Woncha= Won’t you 你可以．．．嗎?
這個字的意思是 “Won’t you”，won’t you 這個用法，其實有點邀請的意味在，例如：Won’t you play basketball with me? ＝ Woncha play basketball with me? （你可以跟我一起打籃球嗎？）
例句:
Woncha play one more song on the piano?
Won’t you play one more song on the piano?
(你可以再彈一首曲子嗎？)
4. cantcha = can’t you 你不能?
這個字的意思是 “can’t you”，例如：
Cantcha think of me for me once?
Can’t you think of me for me once?
（難道你不能這一次就替我著想嗎？）
5. dunno = don’t know. 誰幹的?
這個字是 don’t know 的寫法，例如：
Who did it? I dunno!
Who did it? I don’t know.
(誰幹的？我不知道。）
6. gotta = got to 必須
這個字是 “got to” 的縮讀，其實 got to 的正確說法是 have got to，只不過在口語表達的時候，常常把那 have 的音省略，例句：
I gotta get up at five tomorrow in order to catch the earliest train.
I’ve got to get up at five tomorrow in order to catch the earliest train.
（我明天 5 點鐘就要起床搭上最早的火車。）
只不過大家一定要注意，如果是正式寫作的話，千萬不可用 got to 取代 have got to 喔。
(註: “gotta” 是非常非常常用到的字喔! 在進修英文的你可絕對要記得啊!)
7. gonna = be going to 即將要
這個字是 “going to” 的縮讀，原本是 be going to 的意思。其文法用法是 S + be 動詞 + gonna + 原形動詞。所以大家在使用 gonna 這個縮讀字的時候，一定要記住前面必須加上 be 動詞，而後面則要加上原形動詞。
例句：
I’m gonna finish my proposal for my English literature course.
I am going to finish my proposal for my English literature course.
(我就要完成英國文學的報告了。)
8. lemme = let me 讓我…吧
常用觀賞英文影片作為英文進修方向的朋友，應該對這個字不陌生，這個字大概一看就知道是 “let me” 的縮讀。
例句：
Lemme call you back.
Let me call you back.
(讓我回電給你吧。)
9. hatfa = have to 我只好…
這個字是 “have to” 的縮讀，也就是 “我只好”…
例句：
I hafta go to that store for everything I need.
I have to go to that store for everything I need.
(我不得不去那家商店購買我需要的東西。)
10. gimme = give me 給我!
這個字是 “Give me!” 的縮讀，例句：
Gimme some money!
Give me some money!
(給我一些錢!)
